Who We Are

Fresh Start - Our Story
"Pay it Forward" - "Help your fellow man" - "Use the gift's God has given you, for the benefit of other's" - "If you do this for the Least of Mine, you do it for Me"
All of these motivations stirred a passion in the hearts of a small St.Louis Methodist church. The genesis of the movement is the love for pets and the desire to create a sustainable stream of income which could employ individuals who have experienced homelessness and are striving to break their personnel cycle of poverty. They need a FreshStart.
The Raw Meat movement is the perfect vehicle to improve the quality of life for dogs and cats, "Our four legged family members". This collection of high protein foods and treats provides a much needed boost to our pets digestive system.
The protein, yams, carrots, peas, blueberries, kelp, apple cider vinegar and essential supplements are metabolized more effectively than any highly processed dry filler. Energy levels are elevated, coats and skin quality is improved, and best of all since more of the food is absorbed in the body, the waste is smaller and has less odor. Hurray. Their lives are given a FreshStart.
The face of homelessness and poverty has changed in the past decade. Individuals, families and youth have been devastated by high unemployment, loss of health care, family support and poor life choices. Federal and local safety nets have collapsed or disappeared.
Our goal is to provide a helping hand up. To offer those who have been rejected, devastated and dismissed as valueless and opportunity to regain their dignity, self-esteem and become a partner in reshaping their own destiny.
As partners in this enterprise they understand their training and skills create a really great food. They realize the fruits of their effort generates the smile on the faces of countless families, young children and grateful seniors as they watch the playful spirit of their healthy pet.
100% of the proceeds are returned to replenishing food product, equipment and most importantly paying salaries of the workers so they can obtain shelter and food. All management oversight and coordination is non-compensated volunteers.
With your help - mouthful by mouthful - paycheck by paycheck we can "End Homelessness in St.Louis".
